Missouri ACA Hosts

Stone County Sheriff's Department
Applies as 2nd ACA Host

On September 1st, 1999, Richard Hill, Sheriff of Stone County,
Missouri in Galena, Missouri, sent in the newest application to become a Host on
the ACA System. This new Host, approximately 60 miles south-west of the original
ACA Host in Rogersville Missouri, will further extend the system's reach into the
corners of Southwest Missouri, Northwest Arkansas, Northeast Oklahoma, and
Southeast Kansas, as well as effectively covering the heavily traffic area of Branson,
Missouri.

Stone County Sheriff's Department
Newest ACA Host

This afternoon, Ed Thornton of Net Focus completed the installation of the ACA
Host system in the new Sheriff's department building in Galena, Missouri.....

With the approval of Sheriff Richard Hill, the ACA System was sucessfully installed
on the computer which is to be operated by Paul Branstetter and Bill Heinzl....
good guys... I even think I talked them into attending next years Bikers for Kids
fundraiser. Paul attended the demonstration of the system in Springfield on August
18th and both officers believe this can be an invaluable tool for their department.
They also mentioned contacting other law enforcement agencies both in the area
and in Northern Arkansas to add them as ACA Contacts and see if they would be
interested in becoming ACA Hosts.
We at Bikers for Kids are especially proud that the Stone County Sheriff's
Department has joined our efforts due to many of our members living in the area
and Stone County being the home of Hootontown, where our annual fundraisers
are held.

Shannon County Sheriff's Department
Applies as 3rd ACA Host

September 4, 1999, Sheriff Reeves of the Shannon County Sheriff Dept., in Eminence, Missouri, applied to be a host for the ACA software making them the third police agency to sign up with CAF. This new Host, approximately 100 miles south-southwest of Saint Louis, will further extend the system's reach into the eastern portions of Missouri and into the edges of the Saint Louis Area, as well as adding additional coverage to all of the eastern and central Missouri area.With the addition of Shannon County (east central Missouri) and Stone County (southwest Missouri), in combination with Rogersville, we are close to having the entire southern half of the state of Missouri blanketed by the ACA System.

Jack Triplett manages the computers and web site for Shannon County Sheriff's. Jack has done an excellent job and ACA Host is now setup and fully functional at the Shannon County Sheriff's Department in East-Central Missouri.

Fran Bader and her husband, Scott, own Doubletree Campground near Eminence.
Fran represented Shannon County at the Springfield demonstration of the ACA System on August 18th. The Badders will be having a fundraiser at the campground in association with Bikers 4 Kids & BACA to raise funds to cover this installation with no cost to the Shannon County Sheriff's Department. *ACA Installed in Poplar Bluff - October 24, 1999*

Poplar Bluff Missouri Police Department is the latest ACA Host. This will make four areas in Missouri, all of which were paid for by Bikers for Kids, and are all strategically located in the southeast corner of the state.
"With the addition of Poplar Bluff to the existing Missouri ACA Hosts in Rogersville, Shannon County, and Stone County, we have effective blanketed the entire southern half of the state of Missouri as well as reaching all of Northern Arkansas, and into Northeast Oklahoma, South East Kansas, Southern Illinois, Western Kentucky,
and Western Tennessee," states Ed Thornton. Mr. Thornton is not only the owner of Net Focus Communications which donated a dedicated server to CAF as well as maintaining full support and sponsorship for CAF in many capacities.
