The Management team of CAF has a strong background in Business and
Computer Data Processing. The collective knowledge and expertise of this team spans half a
century in executive top level management and communication skills. Each member not only
provides individual skills unique to their management experience but complementary talents
that strengthen the team as a whole. Each member is uniquely qualified and capable of
fulfilling his or her respective role within the organization.

Vincent A. Albers III
President & CEO
Attended Mansfield University, Graduate of Loyola University, Chicago. Masters programs
New York University in Computer Telecommunications.
Former Corporate Manager for North American Philips Corporation. This included such
companies as Anchor Brush and Magnavox. Consultant to Johnson & Johnson, Decision
Strategy, Conde Nast and Merck Sharp and Dome. Educational instructor for Albers
Associates, Dushore, PA. Listed in Whos Who Worldwide registry for Business Leaders.
Currently President of HSF Inc., Dushore, PA.
He is a member of the Knights of Columbus, and when given time, enjoys swimming and
triathalon competition. His concern with the safety of children became a reality during
his work on the court systems and designing of programs to improve judicial functions. His
copyrighted program Abduction Central Alert (ACA) is designed to help all Police and 911
operators to continue to efficiently utilize the internet nationwide in returning children
that have been abducted, to their homes.
Nancy Tucker Albers
Chief Financial Officer
Graduate of St. Lukes Hospital, School of Nursing, New York. Areas of hospital work
concerned working on critical care units, medical and surgical departments and recovery
room.
Former owner of Loyalsock Outfitters, Sullivan County Florist and County French
Antiques, businesses in Pennsylvania. With a career change, Nancy became an educational
instructor for Albers Associates, Dushore, PA. She received a commendation for training
services at the Navy Ships Parts Control Center located in Pa.
Currently Chief Financial Officer of HSF, Inc. a computer software company.
A Marine Corps wife and mother of two, the challenges of working while raising a
family, has always been one of her concerns. In particular, single parents and families
who deal on a day to day basis, with the threat of unexpected separations during times of
crisis. The abduction of children is a world wide problem and effects us all.
Marlene Slater
Secretary/Webmaster
Lorain Products (now Marconi Telecommunications, Inc.), Lorain, OH. A telecommuncation
manufacturing company. Marlene became a troubleshooter and educational specialist in the
operation of complex equipment for various departments in the company.
Owner/operator of My Kind Of Country, Amherst, OH, an online Internet service for the
promotion of up and coming talent in country/western music. A published writer and an
Internet webmaster who has received numerous awards for her designs. She has recently
received an Honorary Membership in the Country
Legends Association.
The mother of two, she raised both children while maintaining a full time working
schedule. A co-founder of the CHILD ALERT FOUNDATION, Marlene gives of her time and
energies in helping others become aware of the danger existing on the Internet while
supporting the mission of the Child Alert Board.
James W. Adkins
James Adkins is a native of West Virginia. Working since the age of eight years, his
career has continued from his beginnings at the Morris Memorial Nursing Home Farm while at
the same time maintaining his education. While still in school, he worked for the Island
Creek Coal Company, Store Division, gaining experience in general marketing. He also
trained and showed horses at various events in both West Virginia and Ohio.
Following graduation from Milton High School, James attended training facilities at
such major companies as Whirlpool, Amana, Frigidare, Westinghouse,and others, receiving
awards at the completion of all programs. This was the beginning of a career as a
specialist in refrigeration techniques. Employed by Philco-Ford as a Primary Technician
for the area of West Virginia and Virginia, his responsibilities included trouble-shooting
and customer relation skills in management.
The father and custodial parent of two daughters, James re-married in 1988. James
continued in the refrigeration field with General Electric working in North Carolina and
Florida. He was promoted to Product Specialist for G.E. and transferred to Louisville,
Kentucky.
James has had a continued interest in Rescue Squad Operations since he had qualified
and joined the Bluefield Rescue Squad in 1972. Along with strong church affiliation, he
has continued to share with his wife and daughters the country and gospel music that is a
strong part of his life.
As a father who has always been aware of the safety and protection necessary for all
children, James is a strong advocate and supportive Board Member of the CHILD ALERT
FOUNDATION.
Wayne Nelson
Wayne Nelson is originally from Kansas City, Mo. After graduating from Northern
Illinois University in 1973, he received BS in Speech Correction and Audiology. Moving to
Chicago, Wayne pursued a career as a professional musician. The family moved to Los
Angeles in 1978.
After touring on the West Coast in 1979, he met the Australian group Little River Band. For the next thirteen years Wayne played
and toured with the group.
In September of 1992, Waynes daughter Aubree was tragically killed in a car
accident. From then until 1995 he stayed in the San Diego area working as musician and
singer. During this time, Wayne developed a deep desire to be involved in the area of
child abuse. He went through orientation and security clearances required being a
volunteer for the County of San Diego in the Child Protective Services Department.
Wayne has continued to develop a career as a session musician and producer in San Diego
as well as touring with the Little River Band, and working with artists such as Juice
Newton, Reba McEntire, Kenny Loggins and the LA Cowboys.
As a voting member of the Board of Directors if the CHILD ALERT FOUNDATION,
Waynes interest continues in all problems that face children in todays world.
When not directing his attention to CAF or the band, Wayne is directing his energies to
the future creation of the non-profit organization, to be known as Angel House.
Teresa Vance
Born and raised in the Washington DC area, now makes her home in Southwest Virginia. She
comes to the Board of the Child Alert Foundation with a broad background in marketing,
managment and media relations.
Teresa was a business student, attending college in Prince Georges County, Maryland,
from 1979-1983. In 1983, Teresa completed the Executive Training Program at Woodwards
& Lothrop and subsequently was placed in one of their major retail locations, managing
up to 8 departments before leaving in 1985.
Beginning in March 1985 and to date, she has been with The Kinship Group as a
consultant in the retail and bank card industry. Her skills include assisting clients in
reaching increased levels of sales and profitability, advising on media presentations and
implementations, and to advise and consult with her clients in facilitating ideal
partnerships between themselves and prospective vendors.
In 1998, Teresa expanded her marketing skills by joining Tandem Records, out of San
Diego, Ca., handling their media relations and support nationwide. Teresa has served on
the Board of Directors for the local Habitat for Humanity and has organized major food and
toy drives for Total Action Against Poverty (TAP) and for Southwest Virginia area food
banks.
Teresa's primary concern is her children and her family. As a single mother, she is
active in family and church events and is pro-active in her concern for the welfare of our
children.
