Circumstances: Foul play may be involved. Joanna came home from work at 112:20 a.m. on May 4th. and had a conversation with mother. At 7:00 a.m. mother went to wake Joanna and she was not there. No history of running away. No sign of forced entry and family dogs did not alert household to intruder.

Our department had received information that the body of Joanna Rogers was dumped in the Lubbock landfill. On Aug. 24, 2006 our department begin searching the Lubbock landfill for the body of Joanna Rogers. Our department searched the landfill for 2 months, digging in the trash and debris. On Oct. 24, 2006 the body of Joanna Rogers was found.
