Police say 6-year-old Opal Jennings was abducted while playing in a vacant
lot with two young friends outside her grandmother's home in the 200 block of North
Hampshire Street. Opal lives with her grandmother in Saginaw, a Fort Worth suburb located
in Northwest Tarrant County.
The other children said a man grabbed her and drove away with Opal crying. The missing
girl's grandmother immediately called 911 and police issued an Amber Alert to
broadcasters.
