(DUSHORE, PA – February 18, 2004) – The Child Alert Foundation is a 501(c)3 tax exempt non-profit charity that assists law enforcement in issuing "Amber Alerts" with our copyrighted Abduction Central Alert (ACA) community notification system. The ACA system is the engine used by many police and sheriff departments across the nation and can notify an immediate 100-mile radius in a matter of seconds/minutes of being issued. Unlike other well-known government funded organizations, CAF receives no Federal funding and operates only from the donations of private citizens and various fund raising ventures.
In an effort to help raise money for CAF and raise the conscious awareness of the "Amber Alert" initiative, we propose that the Vital Protein Bars and possibly the Vital Liquid B12 be sold on behalf of your organization as fund raising items. These items would be provided at wholesale where the retail profit made by the sale of each item could be divided between our organizations and a small portion of the proceeds could be donated back to CAF. For every $250 dollars generated for CAF, the Child Alert Foundation would provide a copy of the Abduction Central Alert (ACA) software to a law enforcement agency to further promote the "Amber Alert" in your surrounding area. The other portion of the proceeds would go directly to whatever program was being supported by your organization.
The Protein Vital-Bars are 2 oz (sugar free) and a case of 160 bars cost $200 (approximately $1.25 per bar). Individual boxes of 20 bars can be purchased as well for $29.95 (approximately $1.50 per bar). By selling the bars for at least $2.00, your organization stands to make around .75 cents per bar while other types of protein bars are selling for at least $2.50 per bar which presents an attractive alternative for you. Your organization can promote the fact that you are teaming up with the Child Alert Foundation for the protection of children in your community and to promote the "Amber Alert" initiative. It's a win/win situation for everyone.
